We are looking for two part time flexible candidates to join our growing team in from March 2017. Please see below for summaries of positions available and details of applications.

JOB TITLE: Part Time Hair Stylist

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Hair and Beauty Studio is fun, creative and growing. HAIR STYLIST ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hair Styling Services to include:  This includes: Hair Prepping (Wash, Shampoo, Condition, Treatment)/ Blow Drying / All aspects of Hair Styling  / Temporary Hair Extension fitting / Bridal Hair Styling
  • Hygiene Focused – You will be required to maintain station hygiene as well as general hygiene maintenance in studio.
  • Administration – Have you general computer knowledge? Can you create and maintain client records as well as perform general administration duties such as stock taking, ordering and taking client payments?
  • Reception Are you confident when answering calls and assisting with client queries?
  • Punctuality – Are you reliable? We expect all our team to arriving to the studio in a timely manner ahead of their working day. Can you stick to a client schedule? We are looking for someone who can provide an excellent service in a timely manner.
  • Team Orientated – Have you experience working within a team environment? We work together all the time. We help each other out when needed and we all have developed intuition when we need to go the extra mile for the team. 
  • Client Orientated – Do you love your clients? We do! – we actively work to improve our delivery each and every day , as well as learn from our mistakes.

***Team training is ongoing  and will be provided for the selected candidate***

 

HAIR STYLIST QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Relevant qualifications (certificates will be required if selected for interview)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a salon environment
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with Bridal clients
  • General computer & technical knowledge
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, must be available to work Saturdays. Occasional Sundays may be required once or twice during the year for wedding fairs and other marketing events.
  • Availability for mobile visits to home or hotel for bridal bookings.

JOB SUMMARY:

MAKEUP / BEAUTY STYLIST ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Beauty Stylist Services to include but not limited to: 

ESSENTIAL:

- Makeup Artistry (experience working with all age categories and proven ability to create a variety of makeup looks within a given timeframe). 

- Brow Threading / Waxing / Tinting / High Definition Brows

- Lash Tinting

- Nails : File & Polish , Spa Manicure, Spa Pedicure , Gel Polish Manicure , Gel Polish Pedicure

- Facial: Facial techniques and massage

- Spray Tanning

 

DESIRABLE:

  • Lash Lifting Treatment (LVL , YUMI or equivalent)
  • Lash Extensions
  • Gel Nail Extensions (Gel Tips / Acrylic )
  • Body Waxing (All areas)
  • Airbrushed Makeup
  • Experience in Bridal Makeup

*** Additional training will be provided for the selected candidate in certain areas***
